  • You will start with a boat ride along the West coast of Barbados, the playground of the rich and famous, to your stop at "Turtle Bay." The guides will equip you with your snorkel gear, instruction, and information about the lives and habits of the underwater creatures. You will then be able to snorkel with the friendly turtles while observing them in their natural environment.Next you will then board the powerboat again and head to the shipwreck snorkel site. Here you will see the different species of fish and the wreck they call their home. You will then visit a beach, where you will have a chance to relax, swim, and sunbathe as the guides serve cool drinks and rum punch. You will head back to your ship.

  • Leider war ich von diesem Ausflug nicht sonderlich begeistert, weil wir einfach zu viele waren. Das Boot war vollgequetscht. Bei "Turtle Bay" waren einfach alle Teilnehmer auf zu engem Raum. Alle wollten bei den Schildkröten sein und so wurde gedrängelt. Trotzdem konnten wir genug sehen und wir waren den Turtles ganz nah. Danach fuhren wir weiter zu einem Schiffswrack. Hier war mehr Platz für alle. Die Fische wurden mit Futter angelockt und man konnte das Wrack im sauberen Wasser gut erkennen. Zum Abschluss fuhren wir zu einem kleinen Strandabschnitt zum Baden. Sehr sauber.
    Trotz alledem habe ich mir zu diesem Preis einfach viel mehr erwartet.
